Richard Dawkins said that, and you could not generate a more deserved endgame for the whole Christian Nationalist project. Christian Nationalists are desperate for a country dominated for Christianity, and they’ve jettisoned Jesus’ actual teachings in pursuit of it. In Dawkins’ vision, they’ve got their reward: a Christian in every single way except for anything to do with Jesus; a religious faith so insipid and lifeless and that even the champion of New Atheism is a disciple.
