My 15 Favorite Songs of 2024

In, and I cannot stress this enough, no particular order.

Albums of the Year lists are a little overwhelming for me, as a reader. What am I going to do? Call in sick and listen to all ten of these albums? In this economy?

Song lists are a little more manageable, especially when whoever put the list together went ahead and dropped them all onto a Spotify mix already.

I should note that these aren’t in any order. This isn’t that kind of list. Just think of it as fifteen songs that caught my ear this year, more or less in the order I decided to include them. The only rule I held myself to was to only include one song per artist. We can’t have a “Best Songs of the Year” post that’s just Javelin.
