Thank you to everyone who reached out after a series of tornadoes hit Middle Tennessee on Saturday. Liz and I are safe, but there’s a long road ahead for folks a couple miles north of us. Here is a good thread of some local businesses helping victims out.

Last week, I watched two movies about people trying to recover from unimaginable trauma whose healing process is interrupted by an uncaring monster carving a path of destruction both metaphoric and literal. I liked them both! Here are two short reviews of Godzilla Minus One and May December.
