Cons: Netflix, the discourse, the film industry in general, the last attempt to adapt these movies was like three months ago, etc.
All I can say is thank Aslan that Twitter will be six feet under by the time these movies drop because a lot of the criticism around these books is already deep cringe from before the dawn of time. Believe me, I sympathize with anyone who gets a bad taste in their mouth around Christian fiction. But to hear some people talk, you’d think the Chronicles of Narnia are on the level as a Chick Tract, and C.S. Lewis’ wardrobe was little more imaginative than Billy Sunday’s sawdust trail.
